A core strength of the Self-SDG initiative lies in its research-driven methodology.

Prior to the development of the mobile application, the consortium conducted structured research to assess:

• Digital engagement preferences

The findings informed the design of the Self-SDG self-assessment model, ensuring that the tool reflects real needs rather than theoretical assumptions.
