These Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference (collectively, “Terms of Use”), govern the relationship between you and IES Cristobal de Monroy (the project coordinator) and your use of any online or mobile product or service to which you have access, any product or service that requires an internet connection or Self-SDG Account to access, install, use, or play, any Self-SDG Account you use to access online, or mobile products or services, and any Self-SDG website, including but not limited to https://selfsdg.eu/ and any service accessible from a Self-SDG webpage offered by IES Cristobal de Monroy may have its own specific Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and if you download, access, or use an IES Cristobal de Monroy Service, you also agree to be bound by its specific Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. 

THESE TERMS OF USE CONTAIN A BINDING ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER, WHICH AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY. 

YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS OF USE 

These Terms of Use form a legal agreement between you and IES Cristobal de Monroy When you use an IES Cristobal de Monroy Service, you agree to be bound by all the terms, conditions, and restrictions in these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. 

You acknowledge that you may access and/or download some IES Cristobal de Monroy 

Services for free 

You also acknowledge that you may not access and/or download other IES Cristobal de Monroy Services without executing a separate agreement with IES Cristobal de Monroy, which may require you to pay for content or services (“Service Charges”). 

By using the Services, you agree to observe and be bound by this Privacy Policy and you consent to the processing, collection, use and disclosure of your information and data in accordance with its terms. Please do not use the Services if you do not agree to this Privacy Policy. 

We collect information you provide us, including: 

Your email address, username, first and last name;

We may receive information from third parties, like Facebook, when you use these services in connection with our products. 

How We Use Your Information 

To operate our business and personalise your application experience, including to: 

• Operate, improve, and develop our product and services; 
• Populate online application database with relevant information; 
• Provide software updates. 

Compliance with legal, regulatory and law enforcement requests 

We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process, to protect our property and rights or the property and rights of a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we consider to be illegal or unethical. 

Website analytics 

We use web analytics tools to collect information about how you interact with our website or mobile game, including what related pages you visit, how much time you spend on each page, what operating system and web browser you use and network and IP information. We use the information provided by these tools for website analytics. These tools place persistent cookies in your browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit our website. 

Cookies 

We do not use cookies for tracking purposes. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since each browser is slightly different, look at your browser’s Help Menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.

Information We Share with Third Parties 

We do not share personal information that directly identifies you (such as your name, e-mail or username) with independent third parties without your consent unless it is either required by law or we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our rights, property or operations or to protect our users or third parties. We may share anonymous or aggregated information or other data that does not directly identify you with third parties to show trends about the use of our products. 

How We Protect Your Personal Information 

The security of our users’ information is a Self-SDG at IES Cristobal de Monroy, and we take a range of measures to help protect it, including encryption of sensitive financial information. 

How We Secure, Store and Retain Your Data 

We follow generally accepted standards to store and protect the personal data we collect, both during transmission and once received and stored, including utilisation of encryption where appropriate. 

We keep the information we collect for an undefined period of time to allow users to access their profiles. 

If a data breach occurs: 

• We will notify you via email within 7 business days; 
• We will notify the users via in-site notification within 7 business days; 
• We will notify the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing within 72 hours. 

How You Can Access, Update or Delete Your Data

We agree that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or government agencies to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors. 

Changes to Our Policy 

We may update this policy from time to time, so please review it frequently. We’ll notify you of changes via a notice on our home page (https://selfsdg.eu) 30 (thirty) days before they go into effect. Your continued use of our products means you accept the changes. 

Once you accept this policy, we will not enforce future changes we deem in good faith to be material absent your express agreement to the changed terms. If you are asked to affirmatively accept material changes to this policy and you decline to do so, you may not be able to continue to use the product provided.
