We are committed to sustainability and the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in every aspect of the Self SDG project. For this reason, the merchandise used to promote the project has been carefully selected to respect the environment, using recycled and sustainably produced materials.
Each item has been designed with planet-friendly materials: the notebook is made from recycled paper derived from milk cartons; the pen and bottle are crafted from recycled aluminum; the lanyard is made of recycled cotton; and the badges are handcrafted with recycled cotton fibers from the textile industry. These badges even contain seeds, which can be planted after use, fully closing the consumption cycle in a 100% sustainable way. Additionally, we included an informational card made from algae harvested from the Venice Lagoon, showcasing another example of sustainable resource utilization.
This merchandise is not only functional but also reflects the project’s commitment to responsible consumption and aligns with the philosophy of the local company that produces these items, which is also committed to the SDGs. Trusting a local company that shares these values reaffirms our commitment to the environment and the circular economy, adding significant value to this project and ensuring that every detail makes a difference for the planet and the community.
